Based on your experience, what is the biggest workplace diversity issue we are faced with today?
Time.
This work takes time. As we all know it is a journey, not a destination. All of us want sometimes to quickly jump to solutions without spending too much time getting to know the real problem, before we assess next steps. When this happens, the efforts made can be performative; instead we should work to create a strong foundation for future change.
If you had an opportunity to be a change, what would that be and why?
I want to be a better human being to other human beings and bring everyone that I can along in this journey with me. I want to continue to drive change to break the systemic barriers that prevent underrepresented groups from participating in all parts of society.
