Theresa Palmer is the Global Head of Diversity & Inclusion at BAE Systems Applied Intelligence. Theresa has worked with BAE since 2010. Her career has concentrated on identification and execution of proactive customer satisfaction programmes which has lent to her success with the ultimate customer, employees.
Theresa’s career has spanned over 20 years in the technology industry having held posts in finance, account and relationship management, customer success and D&I among others. She has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Saint Anselm College in New Hampshire, USA and an MBA with a focus in Finance and Organizational Behaviour and Change from the University of Massachusetts, USA.
Most recently Theresa has spent the last four years developing, launching and maturing the diversity and inclusion strategy and execution at BAE Systems Applied Intelligence as well as contributing toward a cohesive company-wide strategy across all of BAE. In 2020 this remit extended to also drive awareness and enhancements to mental health, wellbeing and engagement in BAE Systems Applied Intelligence further strengthening a ‘whole’ employee view when delivering upon the diversity and inclusion strategy. Most recently she has assumed the role of strategic theme lead for race and cultural diversity across BAE Systems Plc.
In her spare time Theresa likes photography, cake decorating, travel and visiting family in the States. Theresa lives with her husband James and her two young sons Evan (7) and Luke (5). Much of her attention outside of work these days is focused on enjoying family life and keeping up with her two lively boys!
